"My whole family want to thank everyone at The Care Division who is involved in looking after my son A. You are all doing a wonderful job and it is very much appreciated. You are all very special people. Yes, there were a few tears and a few sleepless nights in the beginning for my part, wondering how A would settle, but I needn't have worried. Everything went so well. I didn't think A could get any happier, but he has. That's all due to the love and care you are all giving him. You have all been so very caring."
- Mr & Mrs O (July '11).
"Following on from our meeting last week we thought it would be nice to put in writing to say how happy we were with J’s transition to his own house. The staff who look after J and A are extremely dedicated and so lovely to talk to and seem genuinely interested in getting them to try new ideas. J seems extremely happy and has settled in very nicely. So full marks for choosing staff to look after him. We are both now very easy in our minds that J will be cared for in the future. Once again many thanks and please pass onto all J’s carers that we really do appreciate the excellent job that they do."
- Mr & Mrs T (July '11).
"Just a line of appreciation to say a big thank you to all of you for your exceptionally hard work and meticulous way in which you choose the staff that you have placed with us. They are superb, I have nothing more than compliments to extend to them in the way in which they have applied themselves. They represent you impecibly."
- Anthia (Sept '09).
"Robert seems to be very settled and happy at the moment, which makes me very relieved and happy - and that's thanks largely to the excellent team at The Care Division, who are doing such a great job with him. "
- Tony A (Jun '09)

The girls are wonderful & provide the best care & comfort to our mother, with genuine compassion for her needs. They are a credit to your business. Many thanks ."

The Care Division have been supporting people with learning disabilities in our local community since the year 2000 and we have been at great pains to build a reputation on the back of an exceptional quality of service and the high calibre of the staff we supply.
Matching the needs of our clients to the skills of our support workers is of paramount importance to us. Ensuring that they are equipped with all the training they require to empower them to perform their tasks to the best of their ability is therefore essential, and is a commitment we take extremely seriously.
By successfully fulfilling these primary goals we have established a strong, long-standing core team of staff who are happy, dedicated and committed to their work, and an ever-growing list of clients who choose us for our wholehearted person centred approach.
With dramatic changes in the learning disability sector being experienced by all providers in recent years, we have moved quickly to adapt our services to meet the needs of those now looking to live on their own in the community.
Person centred plans and outcome based approaches are now at the core of our service, and with costs under constant scrutiny we are also taking a lead in the use of assistive technologies and are developing our own software solutions to ensure the safety of our clients and our staff.
1. To focus on service users. We aim to provide personal care and support in ways which have positive outcomes for our clients and service users and promote their active participation.
2. To ensure that we are fit for our purpose. We examine our operations constantly to ensure that we are successfully achieving our stated aims and purposes. We welcome feedback from our staff, clients and service users.
3. To work for the comprehensive welfare of our clients and service users. Where we are engaged to provide direct support we aim to provide for each service user a package of care that contributes to his or her overall personal and healthcare needs and preferences. We will co-operate with other services and professionals, and most particularly will listen to our client, their family, friends and wider circle of support to help to develop a PCP that will maximise independence and ensure as fully as possible their maximum participation in the community.
4. To meet assessed needs. Before we provide services, we ensure that our clients and potential service user's needs and preferences are thoroughly assessed. We aim to ensure that the care we provide meets the assessed needs of each client and service user, that needs are re-assessed as frequently as necessary, and that the care and support provided have the flexibility to respond to changing needs or requirements.
5. To provide quality services. We are wholeheartedly committed to providing top quality services and to continuous improvement in the level of care we offer.
6. To employ a quality workforce. Standards for our managers and staff are based on exceeding the national occupational standards for the care industry set by the National Training Organisation.
7. To drive down costs, wherever possible and appropriate by working on the continuous development of our clients to encourage greater independence and reduce reliance upon our services.
