The Care Division welcomes applications from EU citizens looking to work in the care sector in the UK, as well as those from other countries who have valid permission to work in this country.
Our focus is on recruiting Learning Disability Support Workers, sometimes known as Personal Assistants, as well as Home Support Workers, (to work with those with both Learning and Physical Disabilities as well as the elderly in their own homes).
You will understand that work within the care sector involves access to vulnerable adults and children, and therefore every applicant is carefully scrutinised before they begin working for us. Face to face interviews are conducted in every case, and we need to be provided with evidence of your specific experience along with suitable work references. In addition to this we need to have sight of an original Police Check from your country of origin, as well as your permission to obtain one of the UK's own CRB Disclosure checks.
Please note that it is vital that all of our staff team can speak and write the English language clearly and a series of basic tests will need to be completed at the earliest stage of our process.
All of these procedures need to be completed before you can begin working for us, and your CRB check will need to have been received back by us before any work can commence, (normally 4-6 weeks). We regret that the cost of this CRB check needs to be borne by you, the individual, and at the present time is £36.
